Compare the power, tenure and working of both the Houses of the Indian Parliament

The Council of Ministers is under the Lok Sabha’s jurisdiction. The Prime Minister of the nation is chosen by the Lok Sabha and has their support. The Prime Minister and all of the ministers must resign as soon as the Lok Sabha expresses its members’ “no confidence” in the Council of Ministers. This authority does not belong to the Rajya Sabha. Any regular law must be approved by both chambers. Only when a bill is approved by both chambers can it become a law. A combined session makes the final decision when there is a disagreement between the houses. The Lok Sabha’s viewpoint is more likely to prevail during a joint session because it has more members than the Rajya Sabha.
