CollationElementIterator next() method in Java with Examples

The next() method of java.text.CollationElementIterator class is used to get next Collator element. This method push the iterator to the next element and returns its value.
Syntax:
public int next()
Parameter: This method does accepts any parameter.
Return Value: This method returns the value of the next collator element as an integer value.
Below are the examples to illustrate the next() method:
Example 1:
import java.text.*;
import java.util.*;
import java.io.*;
public class GFG {
public static void main(String[] argv)
{
String test = "abcd" ;
RuleBasedCollator rbc
= (RuleBasedCollator)(Collator.getInstance());
CollationElementIterator cel
= rbc.getCollationElementIterator(test);
cel.setOffset( 1 );
