Cognizant GencNext Interview Experience

I am an undergraduate student pursuing my bachelor’s degree from Information Technology Branch. This is an On-campus drive.

Round 1: I have given a test for GencNext on 14 August 2021.

Round 2:

• Got the result of the test on the 20^th of August,2021, And My Interview is on the 21^st of August,2021.

Round 3: Technical Interview

• The Interviewer asked me to Introduce Myself.
• He asked me a question related to SQL,i.e: Can you retrieve the second-largest salary record from the Employee table.
• He asked me about Joins in DBMS,i.e: Cross-Join.
• Check whether the given number is Prime Number or not.
• Deadlock in Multithreaded Environment.
• He asked me about IP addresses (which Ip addresses we use more frequently).
• Differences between C++ and Java (He is a Java Developer, My favorite Language is C++).

Round 4: HR Interview

• HR Introduced herself and asked me to introduce myself.
• Document Verification (Aadhaar card, PAN Card,10th Memo).
• Are you ready to undergo an Internship Program during the 8th Semester?
• Any Questions.

Verdict: Selected.
