I had given an interview at cognizant for the Genc role. The interview went really well.

  • They asked me to introduce myself.
  • Later they asked a few questions on aptitude showing questions in their notepad are a little bit easy.
  • Then they asked me in which language you are comfortable, I replied Python and they asked me to write a program for the prime numbers I wrote the program, and I shared my notepad screen with them.
  •  Then they asked me about my academic project, and they asked a few questions about it and I answered them.
  •  It’s better to have good knowledge of a project which you are doing, and I belong to the Mechanical Engineering branch, and they asked a few questions related to the technical field.
  • And in the final, they asked for a few confirmations about shifts and changing programming language, and in the final, they send me LOI after 1week from the date of the interview.

Key takeaways:

  • Be good at aptitude and reasoning.
  • The project is the key here.
  • Prepare basic stuff about your core branch.
  • Be confident and be nervous less.
  • Say you are comfortable with night shifts and change in domains.
