Below programs demonstrate the getMethods() method.
Example 1:

Java

// Java program to demonstrate getMethods() method

import java.util.*;

public class Test {
    public static void main(String[] args)
        throws ClassNotFoundException
    {

        // returns the Class object for this class
        Class myClass = Class.forName("Test");

        System.out.println("Class represented by myClass: "
                           + myClass.toString());

        // Get the methods of myClass
        // using getMethods() method
        System.out.println("Methods of myClass: "
                           + Arrays.toString(
                                 myClass.getMethods()));
    }
}

Output:

Class represented by myClass: class Test
Methods of myClass: [

public final void java.lang.Object.wait(long, int) throws java.lang.InterruptedException,
public final native void java.lang.Object.wait(long) throws java.lang.InterruptedException,
public final void java.lang.Object.wait() throws java.lang.InterruptedException,
public boolean java.lang.Object.equals(java.lang.Object),
public java.lang.String java.lang.Object.toString(),
public native int java.lang.Object.hashCode(),
public final native java.lang.Class java.lang.Object.getClass(),
public final native void java.lang.Object.notify(),
public final native void java.lang.Object.notifyAll()

Example 2:

Java

// Java program to demonstrate getMethods() method

import java.util.*;

class Main {

    public Object obj;
    private void function() {}

    Main()
    {

        class Arr {
        };

        obj = new Arr();
    }

    public static void main(String[] args)
        throws ClassNotFoundException
    {
        Main t = new Main();

        // returns the Class object
        Class myClass = t.obj.getClass();

        // Get the methods of myClass
        // using getMethods() method
        System.out.println("Methods of myClass: "
                           + Arrays.toString(
                                 myClass.getMethods()));
    }
}

Output:

Methods of myClass: [
public static void Test.main(java.lang.String[]) throws java.lang.ClassNotFoundException,
public final void java.lang.Object.wait(long, int) throws java.lang.InterruptedException,
public final native void java.lang.Object.wait(long) throws java.lang.InterruptedException,
public final void java.lang.Object.wait() throws java.lang.InterruptedException,
public boolean java.lang.Object.equals(java.lang.Object),
public java.lang.String java.lang.Object.toString(),

public final native java.lang.Class java.lang.Object.getClass(),
public final native void java.lang.Object.notify(),
public final native void java.lang.Object.notifyAll()
