CGI Interview Experience for Software Engineer (On-Campus)

CGI came to our campus in January 2021. First, there is a pre-placement talk in which they explained the company and its policies and hiring process along with compensation. 

The total hiring process consists of two rounds. They are:

1. Written Round
2. Technical and HR interview

Written Round: It consists of 5 sections. 

1. Aptitude
2. Logical Reasoning
3. Verbal Section
4. Coding
5. Computer Fundamentals

It is easy to clear written round if you are practicing aptitude, reasoning, and coding. After clearing the written round, I am eligible for an interview which is virtual. 

Technical and HR Interview: There is only one-panel member who asked both technical and hr questions. The interviewer asked questions only about skills and courses mentioned in my resume. Some questions are:

1. Introduce about yourself
2. Explain your project
3. Why you selected ECE as your engineering domain? (I am an ECE student) 
4. HR questions are quite commonly asked questions. 
5. Prepare well based on your resume and be confident. 

Total interview duration: 30 minutes
