Capgemini is one of the most popular mass recruiters and this year, they came up with some changes. They come to hire freshers in our college majorly for 3 roles: Sr Analyst, Analyst (Differential Offering) and Analyst roles. I would tell you about my experience with the process of Capgemini.

We fill our application forms for Capgemini in the 3rd week of August, 2022 on the Superset platform. The hiring process of Capgemini has 3 rounds:

  • English and Technical MCQ – Cognitive Assessment
  • Spoken English Assessment
  • Technical + HR Interview

English and Technical MCQ – Cognitive Assessment: Technical assessment consists of 4 modules:

  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • Verbal English
  • 2 Coding Questions
  • Game-based Aptitude Test

IMP: Candidate assessment clearance depends on the scores of each module. Each module will be elimination module.

In Game-based aptitude test, you will have to play 4 random games designed by the company and score maximum within the given time period.

Some of the games are similar to unlocking the wooden block puzzle, dot games etc. But don’t worry these games aren’t that tricky, with little focus anyone can score great in this section.

The level of this round is Moderate.

Spoken English Assessment:  This round consists:

  • English grammar (Articles, Direct-Indirect Speech etc.
  • Some questions for speaking (Basically, you have to listen a recorded voice and in the given time, you have to repeat it)
  • 1min. question (You have to speak for about 1min. on the topic which is displayed on your screen)

TIP: Sit in a quite place with proper working of your mic.

IMP: This round will be mandatory but not an elimination round.

The level of this round is EASY.

Technical + HR Interview: After qualifying the above rounds, I’m selected for Analyst role.

  • My interview was scheduled after a month on the Superset web app.
  • It was lasted for about 30 minutes.
  • I was asked to give a brief introduction about myself and then further I was asked questions on Computer fundamentals like OOPs, CN, OS.
  • The interviewer asked me for one of my best project and my role in it.
  • I was also asked to implement a code on an online IDE (in any language) and I have to share my screen before implementing the code. (Asked Code: Write a program to print the binary of the input number by the user).
  • I was also asked about my college experiences in leadership and teamwork.
  • The interviewer was also asked me a situation based question.

TIP: Just be confident and say “No” if you don’t know the answer to any question rather to fumble or break the flow of interview.

PRO TIP: Ask them a relevant question if they ask if we have any questions for them. It shows them that your are interested in joining the company.

The level of this round is MODERATE.

Outcome: GOT SELECTED

Suggestions:

  • Focus on CS fundamentals like OOPs, DBMS, CN, OS etc. and basic DSA concepts.
  • Try to give To-The-Point answers which are short and clear.
  • Go through your projects which are written in your resume.
  • Don’t try to make stories until required.

Once you’re done with the things mentioned above, you are good to go!!

All The Best!!
