Brave is a privacy concerned web browser that is built by Brave software Incorporation. The development credit for this software goes to Brendan Eich. Brave is developed using C++, Javascript and Swift programming languages. It has MPL 2.0 license. Brave is becoming popular in the market due to its ad-blocking and privacy assurance features. It is an open-source and free software made to enhance the browsing experience.

Safari is also a web browser used for surfing the internet and it was built by Apple. It was mainly used on the Mac operating system but it can also be used on Windows operating system. Initially, it was released in 2003, just like chrome it is also freeware. It is open source and is written using different programming languages like C++, Swift etc.

1. It is compatible with various operating systems like Windows, Mac, Linux etc. Safari web browser supports only the mac operating system.
2. It is a new web browser to the market as it was launched in 2016. It is a  decade old web browser as it was launched in 2003.
3. Provides anonymous browsing features using tor. It does not have tor functionality yet provides safe browsing.
4. Brave ensures privacy by disabling website trackers which collect user information. Security and privacy is the top priority of safari and it is the safest browser.
5. The default search engine is Brave Search. Google is the default search engine.
6. It blocks all the ads on any web page or website. Adblocking feature is not available in the safari web browser.
7. It provides many customizing features. It has little customization scope for the user.
8. It allows plugin integration of any third party. No external plugin integration is allowed.
