Brave is a privacy concerned web browser that is built by Brave software Incorporation. The development credit for this software goes to Brendan Eich. Brave is developed using C++, Javascript and Swift programming languages. It has MPL 2.0 license. Brave is becoming popular in the market due to its ad-blocking and privacy assurance features. It is an open-source and free software made to enhance the browsing experience.

Google Chrome is one of the best web browsers as it is used by more than 60 percent of people worldwide on their desktops. It is also freeware means free to use by anybody. A license agreement is also simple and straightforward. It was developed by Google Incorporation and initially, it was released in 2008.

1. It is a new web browser that was launched in 2016 and has a small customer base. It is a decade old web browser and has a large customer base.
2. Brave search is used as the default search engine. It uses Google as its default search engine.
3. Battery and RAM consumption is less as compared to Chrome in some tests. Battery and RAM consumption is more as compared to Brave.
4. Ads are blocked permanently and provide a better experience. It does not provide an ad-blocking facility.
5. Website trackers are switched off when browsing using brave. It does not turn off the website trackers.
6. It has a simple user interface. Use interface is really good as compared to brave.
7. Users can customize different features according to their preferences. Customization according to the user cannot be implemented easily.
8. It has tor mode to provide anonymity. It lacks anonymized network routing.
