Brave web browser was developed by Brave company and the core person credited for this development is Brendan Eich. It is just like other web browsers in terms of interface and basic functionalities but it has some advanced features which make it unique in the web browser market. Swift, C++ and JavaScript are some programming languages which are used in developing Brave.

Advantages of Brave Browser

DuckDuckGo web browser was developed by Gabriel Weinberg and his group members in 2008. It was developed with the purpose to ensure users’ privacy which other browsers do not respect. DuckDuckGo incorporation developed the browser using the C++ programming language. It can be used on various operating systems like Windows, MacOS, Android etc.

Advantages of DuckDuckGo

  • It respects privacy and does not collect users’ browsing activities to give personal ads.
  • Search results are uniform means they are not based on your past experiences.
  • It is open source so users can trust it.
  • It does not store IP addresses, login information or cookies etc.

Disadvantages of DuckDuckGo

  • It does not have any protection feature from viruses, worms or malware.
  • It allows ads to generate revenue but ads are not personalized.
