I had applied for Apprentice position at Bank of America via campus placements. The process had three rounds for me :

Round 1(Video Interview Round): Held on HirePro. This round consisted of 1 behavioral question where I was asked to introduce myself, my educational background and training, and how it would be beneficial for the position that I had applied for, followed by 2 coding questions where one question was of easy approach, the second was of medium approach. The coding questions were followed by another video question where I was asked to discuss the approach that I had taken for the second question. Make sure, you talk about the time complexity and algorithm that you had used for the question.

Result: Cleared

Round 2(Technical Interview): Held on Webex Meet. The TI was held over a duration of 20-30 minutes where one’s project, CS fundamentals were checked. The interviewer was nice and friendly. I was asked to explain my project on my resume, was asked the logic to swap two numbers and to print the first 15 prime numbers and I was also questioned on the basics of OS. I was also asked if I had any questions for him. Asked him two. Never hesitate to ask questions. Even if you don’t have any, ask any relevant question that comes to your mind. Overall a decent interview, if you have your basics right.

Result: Cleared

Round 3(Managerial Interview): Held on Webex Meet. The MI round was taken by a Manager who asked a mix of behavioral questions such as one’s strengths, weaknesses, why Bank of America, how your goals align with the values of Bank of America, where do I see myself in 5 years, and was also asked why my 10th and 12 marks had a difference. The interview was held for over 30 mins.

Result: Rejected

Conclusion: This being my very first interview, it was a good experience despite the results not being in my favor. Overall 11 students of my campus got the offer. Be confident, have your basics right, know each and every word of your resume, and at the end of all this believe in yourself.
