Profile: Data Analyst

Requirements: Minimum 1-2 years of industry experience in IT and UG in CS/IT is mandatory with first class scores in academics.

Round 1(Online Test on Hire-pro portal):

1. Technical and computer fundamentals on JAVA, python, SQL, OOPS, cloud, git, output of the program questions etc.
2. Logical Reasoning
3. Data Sufficiency
4. Data Redundancy
5. Data Interpretation
6. Quantitative Aptitude
7. Verbal Ability

Total time: 90 mins, Total questions: 70

The level of questions was very good. It is expected to get a minimum of 60% correct to get through to the next round.

Round 2(Technical Interview – Online): The interviewer started off with Introduce Yourself. 

• He asked me questions on my current, previous projects I have undertaken in PwC. 
• What technologies, tools I have used in them. 
• Then he gave me 2 SQL queries to solve after looking at a table for few minutes. 
• Those were very good queries and involved concepts of Distinct, Order by, group by, joins, count(), procedures. 
• Then he asked me for a puzzle which can be found here: https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/puzzle-21-3-ants-and-triangle/. 
• Then, he asked me questions on python fundamentals like, difference between Set, List, Tuple, Dictionary. Questions on lambda functions. Questions on Agile Methodology. Question on Azure Devops portal.
• Then, he asked me if I had any questions. The round went for around 40 mins.

Round 3(HR Interview – Online):

• Introduce yourself. 
• What is your aim in life? 
• Tell me about your family background?  
• Explain few internships that you have done. 
• Why Axtria? 
• Do you have any plans for future studies? 
• Where do you see yourself in next 5 years? 
• Any job location preferences. 
• Then, she asked me if I had any questions. The round went for 20 mins.

Result: I was offered the Role of Data Analyst. 

Note: The test and interview process took 50 days after I applied. All the communication happened via emails.
