ArrayList clone() method in Java with Examples

The Java.util.ArrayList.clone() method is used to create a shallow copy of the mentioned array list. It just creates a copy of the list.
Syntax:
ArrayList.clone()
Parameters: This method does not take any parameters.
Return Value: This function returns a copy of the instance of Linked list.
Below program illustrate the Java.util.ArrayList.clone() method:
Example 1:
import java.io.*;
import java.util.ArrayList;
public class ArrayListDemo {
public static void main(String args[])
{
ArrayList<String> list
= new ArrayList<String>();
list.add( "Geeks" );
list.add( "for" );
list.add( "Geeks" );
list.add( "10" );
list.add( "20" );
System.out.println( "First ArrayList: "
+ list);
ArrayList sec_list = new ArrayList();
sec_list = (ArrayList)list.clone();
System.out.println( "Second ArrayList is: "
+ sec_list);
