It was an on-campus drive. The minimum criteria were only 50% throughout my academic life. They were looking for interested candidates for the iOS / Android / Angular / ReactNative / Flutter Developer profile. They demanded that the candidates have strong technical skills in C, C++, or Java.

Also, the candidates should have excellent communication skills. And those who have a passion for mobile application development. The whole Interview process consists of the following rounds mentioned below in detail:

Round 1: Online Written Technical Test: (45 Questions) Round 1 was divided into three sections:

  • C- Coding and Technical
  • Java- Coding, and Technical
  • Aptitude / Logical Reasoning / Mathematics / English Grammar

The questions were in MCQ format and the questions are relatively easy as compared to the questions that appeared in TCS and InfyTQ exams. There is no negative marking on it.

Those students who have cleared the threshold score have been forwarded to the next round.

Round 2: First Technical Interview: Round 2 is of Technical Interview. In this round, the interviewer is going to ask you basic questions to test your programming knowledge. They will ask you Object Oriented Programming Concepts with their practical implementations. They will gonna ask you to share your screen and then implement the logic in your preferred language.

They will also give you some coding questions to solve related to strings and patterns. So go through that. Overall if you are good at programming, then you will surely be going to crack the interview. They will surely gonna ask you regarding DSA.

Round 3: Second Technical Interview: In the second round of Technical Interview, I have been interviewed by the VP of the organization of the Mohali Branch. It seems nice to talk to him. He just asked me about some basic coding concepts and how they work in the background. And give me two programming questions to solve. They only wanted to test my reflex over the problems. I have given all the answers to the questions correctly and most important confidently. I have been selected for the next and last round of HR Round.

Round 4: HR Interview: The last round is of HR Interview. In this round, they asked me to introduce myself. Afterward, they asked me some questions as follows:

  • What do you know about Appinventiv?
  • Why do you think that given position is relevant to you and how much you are interested in?
  • Any personal field of interest?
  • After these questions, they asked me some situation-based questions:
  • If you are in a team of two members consisting of you and another person. On some tasks, you both have come up with a different approach and you both don’t want to agree with each other. What will be your approach for solving this issue?
  • You are working as a fresher, and you have encountered some problems, and you have asked your senior for a solution. They have to provide you with a solution to that issue. In future if you will encountered the same problem and don’t remember the solution. Will you again approach that senior for the solution? Please elaborate on the approach.

I have told you my approach to solving this issue. The interviewer was very with my attitude toward solving these problems efficiently. At last, they asked me if I have any questions. And both of us leave the meeting.

After 4 working days, I have received my results from the placement cell of my college about the selection. I am very happy with the news.

This was my interview experience with Appinventiv.
