Animating a Cycle using Flash

Advertising is one of the industries that is using animations because it costs less to make an advertisement with animations rather than hiring actors, advertising can be of anything like any product or certain event or awareness program. For example, cycle animation can be used by a cycle manufacturer to sell it, or it can also be to promote any awareness program. These animations become simple with the use of Flash.

Animating a Cycle

Cycle animation is useful in projects like fitness advertisements and any cycle race competition, it is easy to animate and the principle used here can be applied to different vehicles for animating them. We will animate the cycle using one of the simplest methods, for this we will need a vector image of the cycle so make sure to download a copyright-free image from the internet.

Step 1: Open a new project in Adobe Flash.

Step 2: Import image of cycle on the stage.

Step 3: Now select the cycle and distribute all parts to different layers.

Step 4: Name the layers as Cycle, tyre 1 and tyre 2.

Step 5: Convert the tyre into the symbol.

Step 6: Next screen will appear choose Graphic in type option and click OK.

Step 7: Convert the second tyre to symbol in similar manner.

Step 8: Select frame 25 and insert a keyframe.

Step 9: Change the position of cycle to the right side at last frame.

Step 10: Now select middle frame and apply classic tween.

Step 11: Now set the rotation in the tyre in clockwise.

Step 12: Press the run button to see the animation.

Congratulations your animation is ready now you can press Ctrl + Enter to see the final output of the animation.
