Angular PrimeNG is an open-source framework with a rich set of native Angular UI components that are used for great styling and this framework is used to make responsive websites with very much ease. In this article, we will see how to use the TreeTable Virtual Scrolling in Angular PrimeNG.

Angular PrimeNG TreeTable Virtual Scrolling is used to enable virtual scroll in the TreeTable component. VirtualScroller is an efficient approach to handling data effectively.

Syntax:

<p-treeTable
    [virtualScroll]>
</p-treeTable>

Creating Angular application & Module Installation:

Step 1: Create an Angular application using the following command.

ng new appname

Step 2:  After completing your project folder i.e. appname, move to it using the following command.

cd appname

Step 3: Install PrimeNG in your given directory.

npm install primeng --save
npm install primeicons --save

Project Structure: It will look like the following:

Run the below command:

ng serve --open

Example 1: Below is a simple example that demonstrates the use of the Angular PrimeNG TreeTable Virtual Scrolling.

app.component.html

<p-treeTable
  [value]="tableData"
  [scrollable]="true"
  [virtualScroll]
  scrollHeight="250px"
  [virtualRowHeight]="30"
>
  <ng-template pTemplate="header">
    <tr>
      <th>Name</th>
      <th>Age</th>
    </tr>
  </ng-template>
  <ng-template pTemplate="body"
        let-rowNode let-row="rowData">
    <tr [ttRow]="rowNode">
      <td>
        <p-treeTableToggler
            [rowNode]="rowNode">
        </p-treeTableToggler>
        {{ row.name }}
      </td>
      <td>{{ row.age }}</td>
    </tr>
  </ng-template>
</p-treeTable>
