Angular PrimeNG is an open-source framework with a rich set of native Angular UI components that are used for great styling and this framework is used to make responsive websites with very much ease. In this article, we will see how to use the Accordion Multiple in Angular PrimeNG, along with understanding the properties, & their syntaxes that will be used in the code.

The Accordion component is used to display a section of custom content in tabs. By default, only a single tab is allowed to be active at a time. Enabling the multiple=true attribute alters the normal behavior of the browser, where the multiple tabs are allowed to be active at the same time.

Syntax:

<p-accordion [multiple]="true">
    <p-accordionTab header="...">
           .....
    </p-accordionTab>
    .......
</p-accordion>

Angular PrimeNG Accordion Multiple properties:

  • header: It specifies the title of the tab. It is of string data type & the default value is null.
  • multiple: It specifies whether multiple tabs can be activated at the same time. It is of boolean data type & the default value is false.

Creating Angular application & module installation:

Step 1: Create an Angular application using the following command.

ng new appname

Step 2: After creating your project folder i.e. appname, move to it using the following command.

cd appname

Step 3: Install PrimeNG in your given directory.

  • Steps to run the application: Run the below command to see the output:
ng serve --open
