Amadeus Labs Interview Experience (On-Campus) 2022

PPT: On 18th September 2022, they conducted the ppt for us where in they told us about the company, its history, its work culture, and so on. 3076 students had applied for the test.

Round 1: The same day itself, they conducted the AI Proctored test. It was conducted on hacker earth. 2 coding questions ( 1 graph and 1 array processing question ) were asked. Both were medium-level questions. Multiple MCQs (~30) were also asked. This test was conducted around 4 p.m. The test link had arrived an hour beforehand.

Round 2: If qualified for the first test, you would get the SHL test link the same day. I am not sure but according to previous year articles I had read, most of the shortlisting happens here. Therefore make sure are  accurate. There are 3 sections: Numerical, verbal and Logical aptitude, where in you have to be fast. Questions are related to graphs(Not DSA) and statistical data as well, which you will not find easily on the internet. Tip: Keep a calculator in hand.

Round 3

Interview: The interview test link came just a day before the actual interview itself. Actually, it was to come an hour before the interview but since it was night time they rescheduled it for the next day 10:00 a.m. IST.

Judging by the participants in the interview group, I think around 60-70 were shortlisted for the interviews.

The interview lasted for over an hour. Both of the interviewers were very friendly and helped me calm down when I panicked. Since I am from the Core branch, they did not ask many theoretical questions but the basic OOPs concepts and protocols along with some details about the project were asked.

Later they asked me to code a polymorphism example, creation and deletion of nodes in a Linked List, and print prime numbers from 1 to 50.When the HR interviewer came, she asked basic questions about the company, the importance of education and learning, family background, etc. The HR round (conducted in the same meeting) did not go well for me. Later they asked if I had any questions for them, and I asked about the internship and roles they were providing. In the end, they said I needed to learn more, which led me to believe I was not getting selected, but anyhow I got selected for an Internship when the results came. 31 students got selected (20 FTE+ 11 interns). 

So, if you have come to the interview round, you have a high chance of getting selected, you just have to be clear with your technical concepts and basic DSA. Just be clear with them and tell them what you know.
