Adaptflex Internship Experience 2020

Adaptflex is an E-learning startup which was hiring for multiple roles. I applied for the role of web developer by submiting my Resume and was shortlisted for interview.

Interview Round – 

The interview was setup on Google Meet. I was sent the linked and asked to join. I joined for the interview. There were 4 interviewers out of which only 1 asked me questions. All of them had their cameras off. It was basically a mixed interview (Technical + HR). The interview started with normal conversation like how was the lockdown going etc.

The following questions were asked :- 

Q. Do you have any past experience?

A. I told them I do not have any past experience but I have done some personal projects and made a portfolio. They asked to tell me about one project. I told them about the project I made during FLIPR Hackathon. They seemed impressed.

Q. Do you know what we do?

A. I was lucky here as just before the interview I had checked their website. So I told them E-learning business.

Q. What changes would you suggest in the website?

A. I told them what I didi not liked about their website and how it was hampering the user experience and what can be done to make it look better.  They were impressed.

Q. Do you have the technical expertise to do the changes you are saying?

A. I knew they were trying to check my confidence level. I was pretty confident about my skills and told them I can easily do it because I have done some projects which are advanced than this.

Q. What research do you do while developing a website?

A. I answered this question keeping in mind the general requirements for any website and they were satisfied with the answer.

Q. Do you know about WordPress? Can you work on it?

A. I knew about wordpress but I had never worked on it before. I told them I can work on it if  required.

They told me that they will reach out to me. I was pretty confident that I have done well and I might get selected. Finally, in the evening I got the offer letter for 2 months internship. Although it was a small interview but it was a good experience.
